- In 1972, Ashley’s parents divorced. Her mother took Ashley to Kentucky where she spent a majority of her childhood.
- Judd’s childhood was quite chaotic as she attended 13 schools in 12 years.
- After her college, she moved to Hollywood where she studied with Robert Carnegie (acting teacher) at Playhouse West. During this period, she also worked at The Ivy restaurant as a hostess.
