  • He also practices weightlifting and Mixed Martial Arts.

  • Because of his enormous physique, he started gaining the attention of others.
  • The UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) star, Brian Ortega had challenged him to show up in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) ring. The UFC champion had also stated, “I’d smash the Iranian Hulk.” To fight with Brian Ortega, Gharibi accepted his challenge.
  • Gharibi had also accepted Britain’s Martyn Ford challenge to fight, but the deal was cancelled.
  • He agreed to fight his first professional bout with the Brazilian Hulk, Romario dos Santos Alves. He also mentioned that fight on social media and said, “I’m finally accepting my first professional fight against a Brazilian fighter.” The bout is supposed to happen before 2020.
  • Gharibi remains active on social media. He has about half a million subscribers on his Instagram account.
