Some Lesser Known Facts About Wendy Pepper

Pepper went to Nepal while she was studying in college, she learned sewing carpets with Nepali women, from here, Pepper started taking interest in designing with fabrics. After returning back to Virginia, Wendy started learning more about fabric-painting, textiles and quilting.

In 2004, she appeared in the first season of ‘Project Runway’, Pepper won two challenges: design for the ‘Banana Republic’ and Grammy dress for ‘Nancy O’Dell’.

Her designed dress for Banana Republic in the Project Runway was sold all over USA in the Banana Republic stores. The dresses got sold out in just 2 days in the stores and in 3 hours on online stores.

Her funeral will be held on 1st December, 2017 at Christ Church in Georgetown, Washington.
