• Sayfullo was good at Mathematics and started his career as an accountant at Sayokhat hotel in Tashkent.

• He is an Uzbek immigrant who arrived in the US in March 2010 as part of the Diversity Immigrant Lottery. 

• He first arrived at the New York City, after which he stayed at the house of his father’s friend in the northeast outskirts of Cincinnati, Ohio.

• He wanted to get a job in the hotel business, but because of his poor English and no connections, he started working as a trucker.

• He registered the first business in 2011.

• In 2013, he registered the second business in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

• From 2015 to 2016, he lived in Tampa, Florida, where he got a driver’s license.

• In March 2016, he had started working with IIK Transport out of Illinois.

• In 2017, he moved to Paterson, New Jersey, and drove for companies like Abror Logistics.

• On November 1, 2017,  around 3 p.m, just 10 km away from the World Trade Center, Sayfullo Saipov while saying “Allah hu Akbar” rammed a rented pickup truck down a bicycle path, killing 8 and injuring 11 others before he was shot and arrested by police.
