- Javier Olivan is a Spanish engineer who became the Chief Growth Officer of Meta (formerly known as Facebook) in August 2022. He came into the spotlight on June 2, 2022, when the CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, announced that Javier Olivan would become the company’s next Chief Operating Officer (COO), succeeding Sheryl Sandberg.
