• Brooke was an excellent volleyball player, and her school volleyball coach considered her as the best athlete she ever coached.

• On December 3, 2017, at 6:30 p.m., her 2012 Honda Pilot hit the curb and crashed into a tree on Fresh Ponds Road near Selma Drive. She was rushed to the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where she died the next day.

• The irony is that, in 2011, her father died in a motorcycle accident.

• Post her death, her friends and classmates conducted a candlelight vigil for her at the high school and raised more than $45,000 on a GoFundMe page for her family.
