Sofia Vergara was nicknamed ” La Toti” by her siblings and cousins.

At just 17, she was discovered by a photographer on a beach and she stepped into modeling and adopted it as a career on her teacher’s consent.

At the age of 18, Sofia got married to her high school sweetheart Joe Gonzalez, and at 20, she had her first child named Manolo, but unluckily the couple got divorced and she had to raise her son as a single parent.

She did different Pepsi commercials and supported her family financially.

Besides being a successful model, she studied dentistry at a University in Columbia; but she left the course (2 semesters before) due to impressive opportunities in modeling.
